The Nordic Winners 2005: BOS Giltedged Reloaded and BOB Iosono Mea della Mea

Congratulations to 1-year-old Iosono Isis "Sara", Iosono Incredibile "Siri", Iosono Ifigeneia "Lara", Iosono Isidora "Minni" and Iosono Il Re "Arttu"!
Nordic Winner Show in Helsinki 18.12.
Once again a great day! The winner of today was Iosono Mea della Mea by gaining Best Female 1, CACIB and Nordic Winner 2005 title and finally Best of Breed. The 2nd best female was barely 1 year old Iosono Incredibile who gained CAC and title Nordic Junior Winner 2005. Iosono Milla Magia was 3rd excellent in Champion Class and Iosono Il Re got only "good". There were 4 males and 8 females in the show under judge Leila Kärkäs.
Finnish Winner show in Helsinki 17.12.
Iosono Il Re won Junior Class and gained his first title Finnish Junior Winner 2005 and res-certificate. Iosono Incredibile got very good. In Champion Class females Iosono Mea della Mea became 2nd and finally Best Female 3rd with res-CACIB. Iosono Milla Magia was 3rd in Champion Class and Best Female 4th. Our breeder's group was BOB with Prize of Honour. But huge congratulations to Vespina's daughter Vespinja's Azalea for BOB and Finnish Winner 2005 title and Iosono Milla Magia's son Kimblewick Hypnos for BOS and Finnish Winner 2005 title! There were 5 males and 8 females under judge Tuula Pratt.
Puppy show in Helsinki 4.12.2005
Iosono Romulus won the Class of 5-7 months old male puppies with Prize of Honour and ended up with the 2nd best male puppy. Judge was Maija Mäkinen.

The puppies of Gaia and Miki
We travelled to Jyväskylä (located in the middle of Finland) from the Club meeting to say hello to Jazi. On the next day we drove to north to see the puppies of Gaia and Miki. Photos of the 6-week-old puppies on the puppy site.
Finnish Italian Greyhound & Cirneco dell'Etna Club's meeting 13.11.
Inka was once again chosen to the board of directores of the Club for 2006-2007. It was nice to meet many IGs and Cirneco in the meeting!

Four puppies entered, judged by Tuula Savolainen, Finland.
BOB puppy was the daughter of Milla Colombian Friend's Golden Colombia. BOS puppy was also Milla's puppy Colombian Friend's Golden Gift. The winner of Class 5-7 months old puppies and Best Male 2nd was Iosono Romulus. Best male 3rd was Milla's puppy Colombian Friend's Golden Love. Congrats to future stars and owners!

Seinäjoki 2 x dog shows 22.-23.10.2005
Iosono Il Re was the only entered Cirneco on Saturday and he was shown for the first time in official classes. He was BOB and gained his first CAC. Judge was Hjördis Espeland from Norway. On Sunday Iosono Aida di Verdi was the only entered Cirneco for judge Rainer Vuorinen and she was BOB.
Lure coursing competition 16.10.2005
Five Cirnechi (the new record on competitors in Finland) were competing in the LC competition. Vespina's kids took the 1st and 2nd places: the 1st was Vespinja's Azalea (great points of 502!) and the 2nd Vespinja's Apollo (with points of 431). 3rd was Giltedged Implication who gained CAC. Vespina was 4th with the points of 406 and CQ.

Lure Coursing competition - Finnish LC Winner Competition 29.8.2005
IG boy Necku Iosono Monopoli gained the first lure coursing certificate of him and became third after World Racing Champions Necku Best Bet Yet and Necku Yes Yes Yes. Sister Necku Iosono Venezia was the fifth. In the same competition Vespina's daughter Vespinja's Azalea won the Cirnechi with Finnish Racing Winner title!!
Track racing competition in Turku 20.8.
Vespina's son Vespinja's Apollo won his debyt competition in track racing and made race record with 28.13 s / 350 m. The time is also the unofficial record time in Finland. :) Well done!
2 x dogshows in Vyborg, Russia 14.8.
Marina Isaksson travelled to Vyborg with two of her Cirnechi. Iosono Milla Magia was BOB and BIG-2 in the first show and BOB in the second show. She also became Russian Champion. Well done Marina! Also Milla's progeny has visited dog shows with many BOB and BOS wins and several certificates.
Lure coursing competition in Lahti 6.8.2005
Necku Iosono Venezia participated in her debyt LC competition: She WON with CAC and gained 531 points. She made history - no Italian has ever got such a magnificient points in Lure Coursing competition in Finland! So well done coaches Erica & Chrisse!!

We participated in dog show after 7 months brake with Ida (Necku Iosono Vicenza)
. She won Intermediate Class with excellent. Judge was Eli Marie Klepp

Siblings Nala and Keno made a great debute at Lure coursing
competitions: Nala became second out of six IGs with super points of 238
+ 271 = 509 with CQ and Keno third with super points
(as well) of 247 + 256 = 503 SA. Well done our gangsters!
Miki run with Nasu (Vespinja's Apollo).
Nasu won third time in a row with points of 174 + 251 =
425 and gained CAC. Congratulations Janne & Nasu! Miki became 2nd with
points of 218 + 178 = 396.

Siri was BOB puppy at puppy show in
Helsinki. Congratulations! Siri has also been
practising at LC practises and she is running greatly after lure! :)

Il Re & Incredibile first time in a dog show
Arttu (Iosono Il Re) and Siri (Iosono Incredibile) participated in their first dog show the 28th May. Arttu was BOB puppy and Siri BOS puppy.

Miki's and Mea's INT CH titles have officially been confirmed by FCI.
Apollo, a puppy from Vespina's first litter, has participated in two lure coursing competitions in May and has won both of them with two CACs. Congrats to "Nasu" and Nasu's family!
The 4th Iosono litter was born
Vespina gave birth to 2 male puppies. Mother and babies are doing fine. :-)
Suomi-Cup lure coursing competition in Rajamäki 14th May
Miki participated in the first lure coursing competition of him this year. Four Cirnechi were invited but only two competed: Miki and Wiljo (Giltedged Inclination). Title CVM-05 was gained by Wiljo with points of 386(193+193). Miki became second with points 375(193+182).

April 2005
Finnish Italian Greyhound & Cirneco dell'Etna Club arranged a nice day at Hyvinkää sighthound center on the 30th April. There were plenty of IGs and also many Cirnechi. Siri and Lara from our latest litter also came to visit by. It was so wonderful to meet them. Both Siri and Lara tried lure coursing for the first time with very nice runs. Also IG siblings Nala, Keno and Noppa ran after lure excellently. Nala also chased lure together with Cirneco Dante (Kimblewick Ernesto).

Venla was shown for the first time after her motherhood in Ilmajoki on the 3rd April and she was BOB. Judge was Harry Tast.

February 200511th February, 2005: All of the puppies have left into their own homes. Girls Sara, Lara, Siri and Minni left today and Arttu with mama Venla last weekend. Good luck to all puppies and owners!
