    HAPPY AND SUCCESSFUL NEW YEAR 2003!

  • Helsinki International Finnish Winner show. 10 Cirnechi + 2 puppies were entered. The judge was Boris Spoljaric from Croatia.
    So, we had really a wonderful day - all of our dogs were qualified at least with CQ (certificate quality).
    Our little Mickey, Iosono Michelangelo surprised us (again) by being Best Male 2nd with CACIB. Vespina won the females - she was BOS, CACIB and gained new title Finnish Winner 2002. Not bad at all to get two Winner titles from two different countries during one weekend! :) Best Female 2nd & res-CACIB Iosono Aida di Verdi, Best Female 3rd & CAC Iosono Mea della Mea and Best Female 4th Iosono Milla Magia. Bambi's progeny group was BOB as well as our breeder's group. .
    Giltedged Implication (owned by Annikki Peltola) took BOB. Annikki is also Vespina's partowner so she indeed had a wonderful weekend!

  • Vespina was BOS with CACIB at the Swedish Winner Show in Stockholm 7th December 2002. She gained another title: Swedish Winner 2002. BOB was Giltedged Implication.

  • YIPPEE, our Venla finished her Finnish Champion title at Jyväskylä International Show! Now she is called FIN Ch FINW-01 FINJW-01 Iosono Aida di Verdi.

    To the results at Jyväskylä INT show 17th November (4 males & 6 females):
    Iosono Aida di Verdi was Best Female 2nd out of six bitches and gained CAC and res-CACIB and became Champion. Iosono Michelangelo, at the age of 15 months, was for his first time entered in Intermediate Class. He was Best Male 2nd out of four males and gained res-CACIB, too. Hopefully both res-CACIBs gained by Venla and Mickey, will be confirmed by FCI. Iosono Milla Magia won bitches' intermediate Class by being Best Female 3rd and her sister Iosono Mea della Mea had excellent 2. as her result. For the first time in official show we presented our breeder's group (kennel Iosono) and our group was BOB! Also, Bambi's progeny group was presented for the first time and it was BOB, too. The judge was Anneli Sutela from Finland (Annline's corgis).

  • WONDERFUL NEWS from Italy: Iosono Aina Ilona (owned by Jane Moore, Italy) has become Italian Champion! Ilona is the first foreign-born Cirneco who became Italian Champion. So Ilona won the working class over three bitches at Messina specialty in Sicily 27th October 2002 and gained the last CAC for Champion title. The judge was Mario Quadri. Congratulations and thank you Jane and Domenico!!! :)

  • Vespina was entered in Tromssa INT show in Norway 20th October 2002. The judge was Lotte Jörgensen from Denmark. Vespina did great in the ring: she was BOS with CAC and CACIB. This CACIB was the last one for Vespina's INT Ch* title and Vespina also became Norwegian Champion! Cirneco dell'Etna Immu, Giltedged Implication, was BOB (owned by Vespina's owner Annikki).

  • Ilona was entered in the specialty of the Cirnechi in Milan (Italy) 19th October 2002. This was the first time she was able to get the last CAC for Champion title but she didn't get the CAC at her first trying. Her result was exc.2. with reserve CAC. The judge was Paolo Fontana of Italy, specialist in hunting dogs.

  • The Cirneco Club of the US organized its 5th Annual Specialty in Texas 11.-13.10.2002. The judge was Ernesto Capra from Italy. There were 39 dogs presented in the show. BOB was two-years-in-row Diva and BOS a young male Cy'Era Dallas. The father of our first litter, Felix del Gelso Bianco, won males' Open Class!

  • We participated in HVK Lure Coursing competition in Hyvinkää 28th September 2002. There were participated about 200 sighthounds. Two Cirnechi (Jazi & Marte) and seven Italian Greyhounds were there. Jazi did well - she won the competition with total points of 429 and gained fourth CC. Five are needed to Working Champion in Lure Coursing title. Jazi has won all the competitions where she's competeted during this period! Seela was 5th with 144 points.

  • Jazi (Bambi) and Marte (Lansmarte) the Cirnechi competed for the first time in history of the breed in track racing competition. The competition was held in Helsinki 15th September. Cirnechi run 280 meter distance. Marte won (23.18 s) and Jazi came second (23.79 s).

  • Iosono Milla Magia was BOB at Helsinki all-breeds show 7th September under Martha Heine, Germany.

  • 1.9.2002: We were at Finnish Lure Coursing Master competition (SMM-02) near Lahti. Only Italian Greyhound Seela (Necku C'est Cela) was the only dog of ours who participated in official competition. We didn't get a cirneco dell'Etna partner to Jazi (Bambi). Everything went wrong with Seela before the competition; In early morning at the same day Seela stole half of Mickey's (Iosono Michelangelo) food and just before she would have started she opened my back's zip and stole one bread. Well, this all backfired when Seela ran in the field - she was the last one of nine Italians with poor points of 134! Our Seela the thief didn't give up even though she had stolen twice food during the same day. After she had competed we left her again alone in the car and she stole rest of our packed lunch by her secret method. Fortunately after the competition, you can beliefe she was fat!
    Our Cirnechi Jazi and Mickey were allowed to be the test dogs of the LC competition. Mickey couldn't participate in the competition because of his young age (only 1 year of age) but he was allowed to be a test dog. Mickey had never before ran in the lure coursing field, so this was the first time. Everything went really well with Miki! The judges judged our Cirnechi and both could have received LC CACs if they had ran so well in the finals.
    Congratulations to all winners - especially to Jaraa the Sloughi and Viiru the Italian Greyhound with breeders and owners for winning the breeds!

  • Kouvola 24.8.2002: Seela (Necku C'est Cela) was Best Female 2nd (BF-2) under Zlatko Kraljic from Croatia. Next day at Heinola Miki (Iosono Michelangelo) was BM-2 under Gitta Ringwall (Finland) and Seela BF-3 under Sean Delmar of Ireland. Milla (Iosono Milla Magia) was awarded with Honour Prize at both shows.

  • Wow, what a wonderful show weekend we had:

    Annikki took Vespina and Immu (Giltedged Implication) to Askersund INT show in Sweden 10th August 2002. Vespina won BOB, CAC and CACIB which made her Swedish Champion. Immu was BOS. On the following day at Norwegian Winner Show in Oslo Vespina was BF-3 with reserve CACIB. Immu won BOB with a new title Norwegian Winner 2002! Congrats Annikki!

    We participated in Finnish IG & Cirneco Club's Open Show 10th August and Helsinki Sighthound Club's specialty 11st August. Miki (Iosono Michelangelo) surprised us by being BOB and BIS-2!! This time Milla ended up BOS. Mea (Iosono Mea della Mea) was second in Intermediate Class. We presented first time our breeder's group (Mea, Miki and Milla) with an excellent result: BIS-1 breeder's group! Also Jazi's progeny group was BIS-1. On the following day at sighthound specialty Miki gained his second CAC and was BM-2. Now he has to wait one year until he is 2 years old to get the third CAC for Champion title. The juniors Mea and Mimi (Iosono Madam Mim) representated Iosono females; Mea was BF-4 and playful Mimi BF-5. Thank you Olivia and Hannis for handler help!

  • At Somero show 4th August Iosono Madam Mim gained her second CAC and was BOB at the same time! Well done Mimi and congrats Johanna & Mimi for the great achievement! The judge was Unto Timonen, Finland. The day before Elina Haapaniemi judged cirnechi at Valkeakoski national show and choiced Iosono Milla Magia best of breed. Unfortunaly Milla couldn't stay for the final ring.

  • Bambi participated in lure coursing competition in Ylistaro (FIN) 27th July and she won again. Unfortunately Bambi's total points, 398 points, were not enough for gaining LC CAC. If she had got only two more points, she would have got the CAC. Well, we have plenty of time to try again. At the same day Iosono Milla Magia was BOB at Lohja group show under Antti Aarnio from Finland. Iosono Madam Mim's result was JUN exc.2.

  • Iosono Milla Magia was BOB at Helsinki national show 20th July. The judge was Tina Permo from Sweden.

  • Iosono Milla Magia was again BOB and Group 5th under judge Paula Rekiranta at Mäntsälä show 14th July 2002. There were three cirneco bitches in the show. Congrats Marina & Liisa!! The day before Seela (Necku C'est Cela) was awarded with excellent 1. at Mikkeli show.

  • At Loimaa national show 29th June Iosono Madam Mim gained her first certificate and was BOB under Lilian Hanniste (Estonia). Congrats Mimi and Johanna! On the following day there was Forssa International show. Iosono Milla Magia was BOB and Iosono Aida di Verdi Best Female 2nd. Iosono Madam Mim received HP this time. Judge was Jarmo Vuorinen.

  • Way to go Milla, again: Iosono Milla Magia was BOB and BIG-5 at Lohja show 16th June 2002!! The judge was Erkki Tuominen from Finland. Milla is only 10 months old!! Mimi, Iosono Madam Mim's result was JUN exc.2. in her first official show. In the same weekend Iosono Aina Ilona received her fourth certificate and also reserve CACIB at Bergamo International in Italy. Judge was Vincenzo Todaro.

  • 15.6.2002: Happy birthday our 5-year-old cirneco dell'Etna Jazi!

  • Iosono Milla Magia was Best Female 2nd at Finnish Sighthound annual speciality in Hyvinkää 9th June 2002. The judge was Espen Engh, Norway.

  • We had very busy a weekend both with dog hobbies and Inka's graduating celebrations. Necku C'est Cela was second best Italian Greyhound out of seven at Harjavalta lure coursing competition on the 1st day of June 2002. Seela's total points were 442 with certificate quality (CQ). Seela's halfbrother Ch. Tarumetsän Hopeakuu gained the last CAC for Lure Coursing Champion Chip by winning the competition. Thank you Eeva for taking Seela again to the LC competition and congrats on Hoppu's great winning! On Sunday 2nd June cirneco dell'Etna Iosono Milla Magia was BOB at Tuusula national show under Josefina Comez-Toldra, Spain. Well done Milla!
    And this was not all, on Monday Jane Moore from Italy and Lucia Prieto and Lucia Bornstein from the US were in Finland. We spent a day with these wonderful people. Two cirnecopuppies (of kennel Kimblewick) left to the US with both Lucias. You are welcome to Finland again!

  • Iosono Madam Mim was BIS-2 in the Match Show in Kirkkonummi under judge Johan Juslin. There were 80 dogs in the match show. Wow, way to go Mimi and Johanna!

  • Iosono Milla Magia received Honour Prize (HP) at Hamina national show 26th May under Ralf Campbell, Norway.

  • We were at lure coursing competition with Necku C'est Cela at Nousiainen 18th May 2002. Seela placed third out of seven Italian Greyhound by being the best female. Seela got 437 points and CQ.
    At the same day at dog show in Helsinki Iosono Milla Magia was BOB with CAC under a very well-known judge Hans Lehtinen.

    • Iosono Milla Magia was Group 1st at unofficial dog show in Helsinki 15.5.2002. The judge was allrounder Marja Talvitie from Finland. Thank you Marina for showing beautiful Milla!

  • What a day at the year's first lure coursing competition at Ridasjärvi (Finland) 11th May 2002! Jazi (INT Ch. Bambi) won the breed and gained her third lure coursing cerfiticate (still two CACs missing towards the LC Championchip). Jazi's total points were 221 + 227 = 449. The points were the best when we left the lure coursing place. Italian Greyhound Seela was second in her breed, total points of 412, with cerfiticate quality.

  • Iosono Aina Ilona was BOS and gained her third certificate at Codogno national show in Italy 28th April 2002. The judge was Guide Vandoni, Italy.

  • Such a nice day to us at Lahti International show 27th April, 2002: Milla (Iosono Milla Magia) was BOB and gained her first CAC while Mickey (Iosono Michelangelo) was BOS with first CAC. This was the first time (and DAY!) when they were allowed to participate in the official class of dog show in Finland at 9 months of age. The judge was Lydia Erhart from Holland.

  • 21.4.2002: Once a again nice succees for the dogs by our breeding in Italy and Finland; Iosono Aina Ilona was BOB at national show in Italy and gained her second CAC under Italian judge Marisa Brivio Chellini. In Finland Iosono Milla Magia was BIG-4 puppy at Hyvinkää puppy show, judged by Pharaoh Hound breeder Jarmo Vuorinen.

  • Iosono Milla Magia was again BOB puppy at Vantaa puppy show 14.4.2002, judged by Tanja Ahlman-Hallikas, Finland. Thank you Marina so much for showing this little girl and get the breed known! New photos of Bambi, Iosono Michelangelo and Necku C'est Cela.

  • New Cirneco dell'Etna litter (four males and two females) was born at kennel Kimblewick in Finland on 3rd April 2002. More information about the puppies on the homepages of kennel Kimblewick http://www.geocities.com/kennel_kimblewick/

  • Iosono Milla Magia was BOB puppy at Lappeenranta show 30.3.2002 under Paula Heikkinen-Lehkonen. Italian Greyhound Seela (Necku C'est Cela) was the 3rd excellent in Lappeenranta under judge Martin Croser, South Africa.

  • 24.3.2002: What a day to our dogs in Finland and Italy: Iosono Milla Magia was GROUP one (BIG-1) at puppy show as well as BOB puppy. Well done Milla, Marina and Liisa! This is a great achievement for a rare cirneco dell'Etna! Jane Moore's Iosono Aina Ilona was BOS and received CAC and CACIB at Reggio Emilia international show in Italy. Well done Ilona and Jane, again!

  • Seela has won the award of Top Lure Courser Italian Greyhound 2001 of Helsinki Sighthound Club. Way to go, Seela!

  • Ilona (Iosono Aina Ilona), exported to Italy to Jane Moore and Domenico Tricomi, has passed a working Trial of Cirnechi with the highest grade 'excellent' (3rd Excellent in the competition) in Grassobbio, Northern Italy, 17th Mars 2002. She can now be shown in Working Class and hope to earn CACs. At the speciality show of Cirnechi Ilona placed 3rd Excellent in Open Class, under judge Marisa-Brivio Chellini, Italy. Well done Ilona, we are very proud of you! And thank you Domenico Tricomi for training her to such a great hunter!

  • Milla continues her winnings; she was BOB puppy at Tampere International show 17.3.2002 under judge Paula Heikkinen-Lehkonen, Finland. Milla's sister Mea was the second best puppy.

  • Milla participated in match show 9th Mars and she was third best among 45 puppies. Little Ida Ida and Milla were placed second one in the Child and Dog handling competition.

  • The girls Milla and Mimi of our second litter visited first time a dog show (puppy show held in Lahti). Iosono Milla Magia aka Milla was BOB puppy with Honour Prize (HP) and Iosono Madam Mim aka Mimi was the second one. The judge was Matti Tuominen (Finland).

  • 5.1.2002 Kajaani international show, judged by Gunnel Holm, Finland: Vespina Best Female & CACIB, Venla res-CACIB & Best Female 2nd placement, Immu - the sire of Vespina's coming litter - BOB & CACIB.
