Breed: Cirneco dell'Etna Jazi's (Bambi) breeders Domenico Tricomi and Jane Moore came from Italy to pick up their stud puppy out of our first litter. They chose 'Ilona' who is the first cirneco dell'Etna in the world who has ever been exported to Italy - the native land of the breed. And, as a first foreign-born cirneco in Italy, Ilona made probably history: she gained Italian Champion title in the fall of 2002. Nowadays Ilona lives with Antonia (Jane's sister-in-law) in Milan where she is the queen of the household.
Ilona obtained the last CAC for Italian Champion title at the specialty in Sicily 27th October 2002. To become Italian Champion a cirneco needs to pass working trial and after this the dog can be shown in Working Class and gain CACs. Cirneco needs to get five (5) certificates; one from a specialty, at least two from international shows and two or less (if gained more than two from INT show) from national show.
Ilona is a good hunter and very obedient. She passed a working trial passed the Working trial of the Cirnechi with the highest grade 'excellent' at her first trying in Grassobbio (Northern Italy) 17th March 2002. She passed another hunting test with "excellent" held in Grassobbio in 2003.
